Mickey Mouse Crochet Set

I made this set for an adorable little boy's newborn shoot. The entire set is was made using 100% cotton yarn for sensitive skin and easy maintanence.

Although I was intimidated by the pattern at first, I tackled it and had no issues. I only needed 2 nights of working on it to get it done! (which is fast for me now considering I'm usually in bed by 9pm most nights!

I think it looks much cuter on the model! Update: Free pattern I used can be found here.

  1. Hi Tara - I saw on Ravelry that you made this pattern, so I am hoping you can help me. I have made everything except for the booties, which I can't figure out. I have crocheted through Row 13, but have no idea what to do next, as the directions really don't make that much sense to me. Is there any way you could easily explain it? Thank you so much in advance for your help!

I can be reached by email at azbelle3@yahoo.com

  2. Hi Sandy!

No Problem! I didn't make the pattern but I did make the set on my ravelry page.

Once you get through row 13 you should have a tube (the toes) and the rows 8-13 are for the heel part, i turned them inside out and joined the two straight edges with a slip stitch, this will be the back edge of your bootie. then you can do the two rows of sc along the top edge. i turned them inside out to hide the join, plus it gives it structure.

    I hope this helps!!

    Good Luck!
