Crochet Crinkly Baby Toy

I thought for this post I would share something that I made for my shop.

For this toy I had a huge skein of Bernat Cotton lying around and decided to use it. The pattern for this adorable toy can be found in this book . Usually I'm not big on buying books for patterns but Stacey Trock is the girl behind FreshStitches  and I absolutely adore her patterns. I received this book from my husband for Christmas one year and I love everything inside. Stacey is a fantastic designer and I am happily still a part of her Kit Club. I love being surprised  by her adorable Amigurimi patterns!

So without further ado... here is what my Triangle Baby Toy looks like!

I went with a nautical theme, but you can obviously do any kind you want! I also found my crinkle paper on Etsy, there are lots of sellers to choose from. Also- make.sure.you.block.it!!!
I usually don't bother blocking projects but this one needs it! the triangle takes on sort of a bikini top shape and needs to be flattened out well before sewing on the ribbon and stitching it all together.

I have this particular one for sale in my Etsy shop and can make up many different combinations. It can also be made smaller, stuffed and a squeaker added!

Happy Crafting!
